KARACHI: All arrangements have been finalized in the metropolis to observe the Holy Night "Shab e Mairaj un Nabi (Peace Be upon Him)" with respect and devotion here on Wednesday.

The police have made strict security arrangements in the surroundings of mosques and venues of programs which would be organized in connection with the holy night, said police sources.

The local administrations have also performed cleaning in the surroundings of the mosques and venues of programs of Mahafil-e-Naat and Zikar.

The police is directed to increase patrolling and perform snap checking on the routes of mosques and venues of programs.

The administrations of mosques have also illuminated the mosques with colorful lights.

The leading scholars in their speeches on the holy night will shed light on different aspects of the teachings of Islam.

Special prayers will also be held in the mosques and Mahafil-e- Naat O Zikr for establishment of lasting peace in the Muslim World as well as prosperity and development of Pakistan.

Deputy Commissioner West Zahid Hussain Memon along with Chairman DMC West Izharuddin reviewed the Shab-e-Mairaj arrangements during visits to different areas of the West.

Special security arrangements have also been made in the surroundings of the Faizan-e-Madina, the head office of Dawat-e-Islami by the East zone police.
