According to data released by Indus River System Authority (IRSA) water inflow in Indus River jumped to 22,700 cusecs against outflow of 20,000 cusecs. The water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1,395.71 feet, which was 9.71 feet higher than its dead level of 1,386 feet.
Water inflow in Jehlum River at Mangla dam has also increased and it was recorded as 40,900 cusces against outflow on 35,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,110.55 feet, which was 70.55 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 50,900 cusecs, 27,700 cusecs and 6,500 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, water inflow in Kabul river at Nowshera has also jumped to 21,500 and in Chenab River at Marala it was recorded as 16,000 cusces.
