The inauguration ceremony will be held at 9.15 A.M. at Level-2 of the Expo Center. A large number of exhibitors and other leading businesspersons will attend, said a Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) press release on Monday.
The KCCI has been hosting this international trade event since 2002 as an organised effort by the business community of Karachi to project Pakistan's positive image to the world, when the Western media propagated about negatively.
Patron-in-Chief of the KCCI, Siraj Kassam Teli, President Muhammad Junaid Makda and other officials have expressed that My Karachi: Oasis of Harmony has truly become an international trade event.
Over the passage of time, the number of foreign and local exhibitors and visitors have increased manifold. This year's expo is expected to beat its previous record.
