Government school teachers stage protest demonstration

HYDERABAD: The teachers of the government schools of Hyderabad Friday staged a protest demonstration here at Novel Rai Government High School Hyderabad against the torture, baton charge and tear gas shelling on teachers’ procession at Karachi yesterday.

After gathering, the male and female teachers jointly taken out a rally which from Government High School to Hyderabad Press Club where the office bearers of Government Secondary Teachers Association including Mubarak Abbasi, Abdul Qayoum Shaikh and Farkhunda Rajput termed the Police action on behest of the provincial government inhuman.

They alleged that the Police had committed torture upon peaceful procession of teachers who wanted the acceptance of their genuine demands.

While announcing the boycott of conducting Secondary School Certificate Part-I and Part-II Annual Examinations being started from April 1, 2019, the maintained that their protest will continued till the acceptance of their demands.
