SC orders Sindh CM to probe 'embezzlement' of public funds

Supreme court (SC) ordered Sindh Chief Minister to carry out investigations in alleged embezzlement of public funds in Department of Initiatives in province.

SC issued ordered at Karachi Registry where two members bench heard the case. Director General Audit told bench about massive corruption in different projects undertaken by the department.

SC questioned what Sindh Government is doing after reports emerged that Billions of rupees were embezzled in the department. SC seeks the report in four weeks from Sindh CM about the outcome of investigations.
