Speaker NA, Deputy Speaker condemn firing on Maulana Taqi Usmani

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri have strongly condemned the firing on prominent religious scholar Maulana Taqi Usmani.

They expressed grief on the death of persons who accompanied Maulana Taqi Usmani.

They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with fortitude.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq also condemned the firing incident and prayed for the departed souls.
