ISLAMABAD: Spokesman to Prime Minister Nadeem Afzal Chan Thursday said Prime Minister Imran Khan was determined to  eliminate  completely menace of corruption  to bring economic stability.

The previous governments of Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had not carried out an accountability process against corrupt elements because their leaders were also involved in massive corruption, he said talking to a private news channel.

He urged the PPP leadership to clarify regarding the transition of huge amount in Omni Group account, adding the Omni group had looted the farmers of Sindh.

He questioned that why PPP was not allowing Anwar Majeed to speak about Omni Group corruption.

The spokesman said the corrupt leaders of PPP were getting heights ranks in the party and they were using PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for their political mileage.

He observed that the accountability system were not present among the many political parties of the country.

Bilawal Bhutto had not given a sensible statement on national issues including Indian aggression or misadventure, he added.

To a question, he said it was a great opportunity for all political parties to bring amendments in laws for the betterment of the system.
