Senate body on Railways reviews KCR project progress

KARACHI: Senate Standing Committee on Railways met here  on Friday and reviewed the progress on Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project and removal of encroachments on Pakistan Railways land.

The Senators meeting in the Divisional Superintendent Office Karachi was given detailed briefing on KCR, said an official statement.

They were also apprised of the recovered land as a result of the recent anti-encroachment drive launched in the city.

The committee members also visited the Pakistan Railways land area between City Station and Drigh Road by train.
