ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad on Wednesday summoned two more prosecution witnesses for testimony in a reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar pertaining to having assets beyond known sources of income.

AC Judge Muhammad Bashir summoned witnesses included Zawar Manzoor and Adeel Akhter to record their statements on March.

Defence counsel Qazi Misbah concluded cross-examination of prosecution witness Muhammad Abtab.

Co-accused Mansoor Raza Rizvi and Naeem Mehmood appeared before the court while another accused former president of National Bank of Pakistan Saeed Ahmed was granted one day exemption from appearance due to his illness.

It may be mentioned here that the main accused in the case Ishaq Dar had already been declared proclaimed offender for continuously absent during court proceedings.
