Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected increase in prices of petroleum products, saying that increase in petroleum prices is intolerable for the people as it will stoke inflation. Fawad Chaudhry of PTI in a statement strongly criticized economic policies of Pakistan Muslim League (N) government and stated that their policies have made the life of people miserable and those responsible for the economic mess have taken refuge in London.
He further said that former finance minister Ishaq Dar has done great harm to the Pakistan's economy for which he can not be forgiven. He also urged the caretaker government that if it is unable to provide any relief to the people, it must not multiply their problems. Fawad Chaudhary added that PTI government will reduce the burden of taxes if it comes into power as a result of 2018 elections.
