Three abducted last week in Capital

The incidents of car lifting showed an upward trend in the federal capital during the last week as auto thieves stole/ snatched 10 vehicles, including motor bikes, from the jurisdiction of different police stations. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, five cases of different kinds of theft and three cases of kidnapping were also reported to various police stations of the city during the last week.
Most "favourite" areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Shams Colony, Golra, Ramna and Margalla police stations.
During the last week, Shams Colony registered two cases of auto theft. A car bearing registration number AAK-206 of Muhammad Imran and a bike bearing registration number RIO-1882 of Nazir Hussain were stolen.
Margalla police registered two cases of auto theft during the last week. A bike (RIP-362) of Zaib Masih and another (RIL-6506) of Adnan Ali were lifted from the limits of Margalla police station.
In the period under review, Golra police station registered two cases of robbery. Muhammad Bilal lodged a complaint with Golra police station that accused Riffat Sultan and others stole cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from his house.
In another incident Iftikhar Ahmad informed Golra police station that accused Samreen and others stole valuables from his shop.
Two cases of kidnapping were also reported to Ramna police station during the last week. Muhammad Riaz lodged a complaint with Ramna police station that accused Aqeel and others had kidnapped his daughter. One Mustafa filed a complaint with Ramna police station that accused Sheikh Fareed and Shafiq had kidnapped his sister.
Lohi Bher, Industrial Area, Tarnol, Sabzi Mandi, Bani Gala, Koral, Karachi Company and Noon police stations registered one case each of robbery during the last week.
