MMA chief, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said that people will reject those seeing dreams of turning Pakistan into a secular state and will extend support to the religio-political alliance to practically enforce Islamic Shariah system in the country.
Talking to different delegations, which called on him for exchanging Eid greetings, he said that MMA would implement the Islamic clauses of the constitution in letter and in spirit to achieve the actual goal of the establishment of Pakistan.
Former federal minister Akram Khan Durrani, Maulana Mohammad Amjad Khan and Hafiz Hussain Ahmad led the delegations. The MMA chief, who is also the president of JUI-F, said that people have pins high hopes in the religio-political alliance, which after coming into power will turn Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state.
He said that the people could be no more hoodwinked through hallow slogans, saying in past such demagogues did nothing for the nation and rather pushed the country towards crises. Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that MMA would practically implement Islamic Shariah system and all problems of the country would be solved due to the blessings received after good acts.
Meanwhile, talking to Maulana Fazale Ali Haqqani, Maulana Mohammad Yousaf, Mohammad Aslam Ghauri and Shamsur Rehman Shamsi, he said that those toeing the agenda of foreign forces have been recognized and now crushing defeat in election had become their fate.
He said that the same lobby is active for the abolition of Islamic clauses from the constitution, but religious political parties, he said will allow their dream fulfilled. Similarly, talking to another delegation, Maulana Fazl said that establishment of good relations with neighbours is part of the policy of the MMA. He condemned the Indian atrocities on Kashmiris in strong words and castigated the United Nations for failure in the stoppage of the cruelties of India against them.
