Under the 'One Belt, One Road' and CPEC Program, the alliance of international medical education has been established in the first three-day conference held in The Sheyang city of province Lieyang, China. As many as 49 health institutes from 15 countries Including China and CPSP from Pakistan will be linked through One Belt, One Road Program.
According to a spokesman of the CPSP, the conference was attended by Prof. Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP and Prof Waris Farooqa from Services Institute of Medical Sciences. Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry apprised the participants of the conference about the performance of CPSP, achievements and e-log monitoring system for the specialist doctors. He said that the outcomes of the One Belt, One Road CPEC program will be witnessed in the health sector of Pakistan. Through this, the alliance of 49 countries including Pakistan would cooperate with each other for medical education, training of doctors, students, experts exchange programs and research and to materialize the ideas for mutual cooperation.
In this regard, CPSP has signed MoU's with three tertiary care hospitals of China for the betterment of profession of medicine. First MoU signed between CPSP President Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry and Prof Wu Yongjian, Professor of Cardiology, Fuwai Hospital China for the better treatment of cardiac diseases in Pakistan. Second MoU was signed between Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP and Prof Lu Hong Kai, President of Weifang People's Hospital China for the establishment of International Training Centers for Laparoscopic and Endoscopic.
