Over 10 cases of various kinds of thefts, dacoities, kidnapping and snatching at gunpoint were reported to various police stations of the federal capital during the last week. According to the data gathered by Business Recorder through registered first information reports (FIRs), "hot" areas for criminal gangs were within the limits of Lohi Bher and Koral police stations during the last week.
Abdur Rehman filed a complaint with Lohi Bher police station that unknown robbers stole a laptop, cash, gold ornaments and a mobile phone from his house. Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number RIO-142 of Abdul Wajid parked in front of his house.
Islam Hussain filed a complaint with Koral police station that accused Bilal entered his house and looted cash, gold ornaments and three mobile phones. Riasat Shah informed Koral police station that accused Haider Shah and three others hired cab (PH-48) of his brother Shaukat Shah and later kidnapped him in the limits of Koral police station.
Nasir Ali filed a complaint with Koral police station that unknown persons killed his father and his dead body was recovered from Kashmir Society. Shahid Pervez filed a complaint with Ramana police station that three unknown persons kidnapped his son when he was coming from mosque. Javed Akhtar filed a complaint with Margalla police station that accused Khalid Memood snatched cash from him.
Auto thieves stole a bike (RIN-7373) of Naeem Sajid from the limits of Tarnol police station. Imran Gull filed a complaint with Khanan police station that unknown person snatched bike (QA-628) from him at gunpoint.
Ghaffar Sarwar informed Nilor police station that four armed persons barged into his shop and snatched mobile phone from his at gunpoint. Izzat Bibi informed Shehzad Town police station that accused ASI Sajid and Shakeel Butt looted cash after they entered her house in search of narcotics.
Gull Hazrat informed Shehzad Town police station that the accused Jawad Ali stole cash and gold ornaments from his house. Auto thieves stole a bike (JML-1774) of Muhammad Junaid from the limits of Golra police station. Tauqeer Ahmad filed a complaint with Secretariat police station that accused Aqdar Khan has kidnapped his sister.
