A full bench of the Lahore High Court on Monday issued notice to the federal government and sought assistance from the attorney general for Pakistan in response to a petition seeking action against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for disclosing details of National Security Council meeting to Nawaz Sharif. The petitioner through her counsel Azhar Siddique also sought action against Nawaz Sharif for "defaming" the state institutions.
