General Secretary ANP, Mian Iftikhar Hussain strongly condemned the recent terrorist incidents of Quetta, Nowshera and Jalalabad (Afghanistan) and paid tributes to the martyred Colonel of the Quetta incident. Mian Iftikhar Hussain expressed sorrow over the Nowshera terror incident and said that unfortunately the government has failed in fulfillment of its responsibilities and the people have to pay the price.
In a statement issued here from ANP's Secretariat Saturday, Iftikhar said that those who are killing Muslims in the holy month of Ramazan neither have any concern with the religion Islam nor with humanity. He prayed for the eternal peace of all martyrs and asked the government to change their policies to protect the nation and country. He urged both Pakistan and Afghanistan to resolve their issues through negotiations and evolve a joint action plan to eliminate terrorism.
He said that they have had earlier pointed and now also saying that the 20-point National Action Plan could not be implemented so far, which enabling terrorists to reorganize. The general secretary ANP said that political leaders in Pakistan busy in the power politics and have left big and complicated issues on the back burner.
