Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah has claimed that his government has achieved all goals that it had set five years ago. Presenting Sindh budget 2018-19 in the provincial assembly, he said: "We are on the path of progress and ultimate welfare of our people".
The chief Minister has said the government has been able to create thousands of new job opportunities, develop a vast infrastructure of roads, and carry out massive works in energy sector and improve service delivery in social sector, particularly by effectively and prudently engaging private sector.
"Above all, we have created special financial support programmes for the most downtrodden sectors of society to allay their pain, misery and deprivation. This budget reflects our prudent spending in each sector and our efforts and strategy to meet challenges," he said.
