Pakistan Tehrik-I-Insaf (PTI) KP on Wednesday terminated membership of 14 MPAs of KP Assembly after expiry of the deadline given to them for submitting reply to the show-cause notices served on them over alleged selling votes in Senate elections in the KP. As of now only six MPAs including Arif Yusaf, Fouzia Bibi, Samiullah Alizai, Mairaj Humayun, Faisal Zaman and Sardar Idrees have submitted their reply on the show cause notices to the party leadership.
The decision about six MPAs would be taken within a period of two days, said PTI leader Shaukat Yusafzai. The expelled MPAs are Nargis Bibi, Deena Naz, Nageena Khan, Naseem Hayat, Yasin Khalil, Qurban Khan, Ziaullah Afridi, Amjad Afridi, Obaidullah Mayar, Zahid Durrani, Wajihuzzaman, Javed Nasim, Abdul Haq and Khatoon Bibi. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of Speaker KP Assembly Asad Qaisar to probe the charges of selling votes by the PTI MPAs, would consult the KP CM about taking decisions on the reply submitted by the MPAs served with show cause notice.
