Deputy General Secretary JUI-F, Maulana Mohammad Amjad has said that Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) will fully participate in the general elections and directed the party workers for acceleration of preparation for the purpose. Talking to media, he expressed concern over rumours regarding the postponement of elections. However, he said that elections are constitutional requirement and should be on its scheduled time to save Pakistan from crisis.
He said that the alliance has been revived for the enforcement of Shariah system and resolution of the problems faced by the poor and will not take rest till turning Pakistan into a welfare state.
Maulana Mohammad Amjad said that the real Islamic revolution would be ushered through the ballot paper. He said that currently Pakistan is facing various crises and their resolution is only with the religious political parties.
He said that conspiracy has been hatched to destabilize Pakistan, saying that the MMA is battling such conspiracies and will continue its efforts. He said that Pakistani nation is religious loving people and their youth, women and people are anxious for the enforcement of Islamic system. He said that the goal would be achieved by the religious political forces soon.
The JUI-F stalwart said that Pakistan is passing through a critical period and during this situation, the party is playing its due role for the Muslim Ummah from the platform of the religio-political alliance. He urged the party workers for making vigorous preparations for the general elections.
He said that the JUI-F will participate in the upcoming general elections from the platform of the MMA and urged the party workers to expand contacts with the masses and told them about the manifesto of their party. To a question, he said that there is uncertainty regarding electoral environment, but they are still busy in preparations for general elections and will contest it from the platform of the MMA.
