Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president, and former chief minister, Amir Haider Khan Hoti said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claims of change were mere rhetoric to deceive the voters as no visible change could be noticed in the province. He was addressing at massive public meeting in Upper Dir on Sunday, wherein a large number of ANP provincial leaders, workers and people of the areas were gathered.
Hoti said the mismanagement in the province is at peak and every institute is in disarray, saying that the real change and real democracy is only possible when masses trust institutions and institutions trust political leaders, he said. He claimed that ANP in the only party which fighting for the Pakhtun nation rights while the other parties leadership are not sincere with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
"We have always pursued for Pakhtuns unity and raise for their due rights, ANP leader said. He assured that ANP will get all constiutiontal rights from centre, if it again elected to power in the province. Hoti recounted the achievements made during previous ANP-led provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He viewed that hundreds of schools, roads, hospitals also constructed, besides with special focus on education sector and established more than eight universities in KP.
He condemned the incumbent provincial government for their wrong polices. Hoti strongly criticize the provincial finance Minister of Jamaat-e-Islami for the huge loan on interest from the international organizations and foreign banks. Besides, Haider Khan the ANP provincial president Javid Yousafzai, Shahzia Aurangzeb, Salma Jehanger and others attended the event. The gathering was presided by the ANP district president and candidate for PK-10 Raja Amir Zaman khan.
Raja Amir Zaman, while speaking on the occasion strongly criticized the JI elected members from the district and behavior of Tehsil Municipal Administration Dir with the ANP leadership. Raja said that they will be asking the TMA Dir after winning the next general election. The ANP leadership demanded the people to cast their vote in favour of ANP candidate in the upcoming general election as they ANP never won a single seat before.
