Tehsil councilors of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in District Karak along with Jamait Ulema Islam (F) councilors jointly decided to topple down the Tehsil Nazim of JUI-F. This decision was made in a secret meeting of the Tehsil councilors held at the residence of one of the Tehsil councilors Asim Khattak. The source privy to the meeting informed this correspondent here on Saturday that 12 Tehsil councilors out of 15 attended the meeting and took oath to be united for the cause of no trust motion against the Tehsil Nazim.
The sources claimed that Tehsil Naib Nazim Jehanzeb Khattak of JUI-F was also among the attendants. They said that the meeting finalized all issues regarding the no trust motion against the Tehsil Nazim Haji Abdul Wahab and formal application of no trust motion against the Tehsil Nazim would be submitted with the Tehsil Municipal Officer Karak Abdul Waheed on Monday.
The sources claimed that the Tehsil councilors of JUI-F were ready to remove their own party Tehsil Nazim from the office and they have shown complete unanimity with the Tehsil council members of PTI. They claimed that there was no agreement among the councilors on the point that who would replace the incumbent Tehsil Nazim but they were united on the point to first remove him and after that the other issue of his successor would be settled down.
The sources claimed that there was possibility that the existing Tehsil Naib Nazim might become a consensus candidate for the Tehsil Nazim slot and added that there was no other figure seemed to be acceptable to the councilors of both parties.
