Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL), Musharraf Rasool, Friday sought sometime from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to submit additional documents in response to a petition challenging his appointment. A single bench of IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petition of 26 senators belonging to opposition parties.
Mirza Ghazanfar, representing Musharraf Rasool, told the court that some time is required as his client wants to file some additional documents. Accepting his request, Justice Mohsin adjourned the matter till May 29. Twenty-six senators, belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), ANP, Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and others, had filed a petition through their counsel Mohsin Kamal.
