The government has earmarked Rs 4.9 billion for Commerce Division in the budget for FY 2018-19 to defray salaries and other expenses against revised amount of Rs 4.945 billion for the current fiscal year. The government had earmarked Rs 4.9 billion for the Commerce Division in the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 4.945 billion. Major chunk of Rs 1.945 million has been earmarked for employees' related expenses in the budget for 2018-19 against Rs 1.94 3 billion earmarked for the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 1.985 million.
Further Rs 1.66 billion has been earmarked in the budget 2018-19 for project pre-investment analysis against Rs 1.624 billion earmarked in the current fiscal year, later revised to Rs 1.579 billion. The government has earmarked Rs 1.13 billion in the budget for 2018-19 for Commerce Division for grants, subsidies and writes off loans against Rs 1.19 billion earmarked for the current fiscal year. Further Rs 964.7 million has earmarked in the budget for 2018-19 for allowances against Rs 1.039 billion earmarked in the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 1.05 billion.
The government has also earmarked Rs 432 million for Textile Division in the budget for 2018-19 against Rs 157.46 million in the current fiscal year to defray salaries and other expenses of the Division. Major chunk of Rs 169.69 million in budget 2018-19 is for employees' related expenses against Rs 49.28 million earmarked in the current fiscal year. Further Rs 129.169 million has been budgeted for operating expenses in the budget for 2018-19 against Rs 52.43 million earmarked for the current fiscal year.
