The 48th special meeting of Board of Governors of CIIT held Wednesday at the Ministry of Science and Technology under the convenership of Federal Minister for Science & Technology and Defence Production / Chancellor CIIT, Rana Tanveer Hussain. Few highlights are: the Board constituted a Steering / Monitoring Committee having members from Ministry of S&T, HEC and CIIT to ensure smooth transition from CIIT to CU;
The board showed its full confidence in the continuation of current leadership / Rector CIIT Professor Dr Raheel Qamar, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz till the appointment of Rector by the laid down procedure of Search Committee in accordance with CU Act.-PR
