ANP's president Asfandyar Wali Khan has termed the withdrawal of security from important political personalities as totally wrong and injustice. He said that in case of any harm to him or his associates, the Chief Justice will be held responsible. He expressed these views while addressing a joint convention of the MC-I and MC-IV of Charsadda. He said that the persons whose security has been withdrawn had sacrificed their near and dears for restoration of peace during the war against terrorism. He said that will never divert from its principled stance against the terrorism.
The veteran politician said that their elders including Bacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan have always warned that Afghan war is not Jehad, rather curse. But, different kinds of allegations were unleashed against them. He said that today the whole world is acknowledging the sagacity of their elders and talking of non-violence. He said that why those levelling allegations against them become silent after the launching of operation Raddul Fasad.
Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the visit of the Chief Justice of Pakistan had unveiled the face of change on the people. He said that real change should come inside the PTI, which had pushed its ideological workers to wall and luring the supporters of other political parties to bring into the forefront. Regarding last month's Senate poll, he said that no expectation can be made from those who sell their constituency and belief. He said that Imran Khan expelled the sellers of votes, but women denied it through taking oath on the Holy Quran.
He also expressed surprise over the PTI chief for expelling the members of other political parties and said that how could he expels the other from his party. He also asked Imran Khan to tell who are 'ooper wale' (top persons), which is revealed by Siraj-ul-Haq and him to take the nation into confidence and clarify the charges.
The ANP chief said that sheer injustice has been committed with Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, who despite decline was fielded in Senate poll. He said that actually PTI paid its own members and purchased their votes and these members sold their vote twice. He said that four PTI MPAs have revealed the whole game and now there is no doubt that the PTI affiliated members were sold in large number.
