Lahore Artificial Intelligence (LAI) organised a seminar on Robotics on Saturday. The purpose of organizing this event is to create awareness among the masses about the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their professional and personal lives.
Lahore AI, is lead by Anthony Williams (Ambassador Lahore AI), who organised the second series of event Powered by Tax Dosti - Smart Tax Filing in 30 minutes using AI, at Daftarkhwan, DHA, Lahore. The seminar was addressed by Yasir Niaz, Professor AI, University of Lahore. The participants also got the chance to interact with Pakistan's youngest Data Scientist Tayyab Ashraf.
CITY AI was founded by Mike Reiner and Christoph Auer-Welsbach at the beginning of 2016 in Amsterdam, to address the need for sharing application focused AI stories. There is too much hype and too little transparency. It's hard to find good people working in AI, let alone having them share their practical lessons learned with the wider community.
Participants were of the view that the long term goal of building a global AI community is to facilitate the sharing of lessons learned and enable more people to apply AI and encourage the best people around the globe to collaborate on important challenges. During the event, experts said that should people know how your iPhone or laptop works? Yes they do know, because now your smart phone has the ability to order food on your behalf.
This is the power of AI (Artificial Intelligence). Pakistan's youngest data scientist Tayyab Ashraf while discussing the concept said that AI is making our world of smart devices even smarter that is why everybody needs "To know their AI".
