KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Saturday said that the PTI government through the establishment of supremacy of merit has abolished difference between minority and majority. Addressing a function in connection with Easter here under the auspices of Christian Ittehad in district Nowshera, he said that all humans are the creature of Allah Almighty and in capacity of the citizens and all minorities including Hindus, Sikhs and Christians have equal rights.
MNA Dr Imran Khattak, Gulrez Hakim Khan, Malik Aftab, Paster Jan Alam and Christians Ittehad, Stephen Ghauri, vice president, Sohail Shad Khan and others also addressed the function. The chief minister said that the provincial government had provided equal opportunities of progress to all and recruitments are being made on strict merit.
He urged all the people to educate their children. He said that the present government had made utmost efforts for bringing reforms in health, education and other social sectors and as compared to 2013, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had totally changed while the remaining deficiency will be filled after coming into power when Imran Khan will be the prime minister of Pakistan. On this occasion, Member Cantonment Board, Stephen Ghauri and social worker Mariya Riaz announced resignation from ANP and joined PTI.
