The Palestinians have described their ongoing protest in Gaza as 'The Great March of Return'. Their just struggle is clearly aimed at returning to their places from where they were forcibly evicted by Zionists 70 years ago. The 1948 Palestinian exodus is known as Nakba (disaster, catastrophe, or cataclysm). It occurred when more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs were expelled from their homes by Zionists. Thousands have been protesting along the Gaza Strip's border.
More than 120 protesters were injured by Israeli forces . the world, particularly the principal Israel backer the US, is required to revisit its policy in relation to Israel and the Palestinians. East Jerusalem must be recognised by the entire world as the capital of an independent Palestinian state.
