Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Sindh Chapter President , Dr Arif Alvi has said if rulers did not withdraw the announcement of the privatization of Pakistan Steel mill, PIA and state run entities, they would stage sit - in on they main railway line, airport and the governor house. Addressing large number of civil society members, Insaf labour Union and PTI workers who staged a protest demo against the privatization of PIA, and Pakistan Steel Mill, and blocked National High Way for one hour on Saturday as a symbolic sit - in Dr Alvi said that the rulers instead of giving pending salaries to the workers want to give the employees golden handshake and privatize the steel mill, PIA and other state run entities.
Condemning the statement of Daniyal Aziz and Miftah Ismail, he said that the government wants to sell the national institutions to their cronies for peanuts. He said that Ittefaq Foundry and other private mill could be run but they want to sell the government entities.
PIT leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said that the national institutions are property of the nation. He said the PML-N want to sell the national intuitions for sake of its agenda. He said that the sitting rulers before leaving the government wants to privatize every thing, but we will not allow them to sell Pakistan. Yaseen Jamro of PTI labour wing Gul Namroze Khan, President PTI labour wing Sindh and PTI Malir President Dr Masroor Siyal lead the demo.
