A man threw black ink at Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif while delivering speech at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers' convention here on Saturday. According to details, the Foreign Minister was addressing PML-N activists at workers convention, here when a man hurled black ink at him. The PML-N workers grabbed the culprit who was handed over to police.
Khawaja Asif, however, continued his speech and said that such "tactics" can't harm his political career. A month earlier, in a similar incident, a man hurled his shoe at Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal while he was addressing a party workers' convention in Narowal city. The man was arrested but police set him free without charge over instructions of the Interior Minister.
