Kharan stun Panjgur in final round of PPL Balochistan Football Cup

During the fourth day of the final round of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2018, last year's Champions Panjgur was defeated by Kharan 2-1. The most thrilling match witnessed so far in the final round, was enjoyed by a huge number of football spectators at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta.
The much-famed skipper of Panjgur, Abdullah failed to clinch victory against Kharan despite getting many opportunities in both halves. Panjgur's Naveed Ahmed scored the first goal for his team, however, while defending the goal attempt by Kharan's Saif Ali mistakenly pushed the ball in his own goal post while equalizing the match in the first half. Ilyas from Kharan scored the second goal for his team fetching win in the second half. Saif Ali of Kharan was declared Man of the Match.
As many as 38 teams comprising nearly 700 players will play 80 matches in the tournament. The final will be played on March 30 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta. The event is being organized in collaboration with Government of Balochistan, Pakistan Football Federation and Balochistan Football Association.-PR
