Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, said that Indian Premier Modi wanted to destroy Pakistan and would not hesitate for a moment to thrust a war on the country if the Kashmiri Mujahideen were not in the front. He was speaking at a reception hosted in his honour by the JI Muzaffarabad. The JI chief termed the liberation of Kashmir as first priority of the Jamaat and called upon the Pakistan government to make Azad Kashmir as a model area by giving Azad Kashmir as authorized and respectable system of government.
Sirajul Haq said that Modi, during his visit to Bangladesh, had presented to the BD Prime Minister Haseena Wajid a photograph depicting Pakistani general surrendering arms before the his Indian general. He said that Modi had also admitted his role in the creation of Bangladesh.
He said after Modi's confessional statement, it was the moral duty of the Pakistan government to file a case against Modi in the international court of justice but the rulers kept quite.
He further said that in Bangladesh, the JI leaders offering sacrifices for Pakistan were executed but the rulers kept mum although the so called war crimes trials were a clear violation of the tripartite agreement between Z.A. Bhutto, Sheikh Mujib and Indira Gandhi,
Sirajul Haq said that former Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan had raised his voice in this score in the National assembly but there was no follow up. He said that scores of liberation and separatist movements were going on in India and Kashmir. He said that India had failed to crush the Kashmiris movement. He said it was a pity that Pakistan had failed to highlight the brutalities and repression going on in Held Kashmir to the world level.
He said it was high time to make the world realize that the solution of the Kashmir issue was imperative to avert a nuclear war. Meanwhile, a delegation of the Senate Standing Committee for Kashmir affairs, Gilgit and Baltistan, visited Azad Kashmir. The delegation included JI Chief Senator Sirajul Haq and Professor Sajid Mir.
