Criminal activities continue in Islamabad

Over 10 cases of various kinds of theft including robbery, burglary and snatching, six cases of motor vehicle theft and one murder case were reported to various police stations of the city during the last week. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, most 'favorite' areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Karachi Company, Koral and Industrial Area police stations during the last week.
Karachi Company police station last week registered three cases of robbery and one case of auto theft. Mehtab Hussain, a resident of sector G-9/2, informed Karachi Company police station that some unknown robbers stole cash, gold ornaments, a mobile phone and other valuables from his house.
Another Muhammad Asif lodged a complaint with Karachi Company police station that unidentified robbers stole a TV and some cash from his house. During another incident, unidentified robbers stormed into the house of Jawad and looted cash and other valuables.
The thieves lifted a bike bearing registration number GT-427 of Nasir Bakhsh from the limits of Karachi Company police station. During the period under review, Koral police station registered on case each of murder and robbery. Muhammad Asghar lodged a complaint with Koral police station that his stepbrother and his wife killed Ijaz Ahmad by administering a poisonous injection to him.
Abdur Razaq informed Koral police station that unknown robbers stole cash, a CD, a laptop and other valuables from his house. Industrial Area police station registered two cases of theft during the last week. Auto thieves stole a bike (RIV-69) of Muhammad Tahir parked in front of his house while another Fidaullah complained to Industrial Area police station that unidentified bandits stole an LCD from his house. Tarnol, Margalla, Bhara Kahu and Noon police stations registered one case each of robbery while Lohi Bher, Golra and Khanna police stations registered one case each of auto theft last week.
