Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said the government's Mega Projects will show their magic in the coming general elections and bring PML-N again in power. While accosting the opponents of these projects in a statement, here on Sunday the CM said the PML-N government has initiated such mega projects for the development and prosperity of the people for first time in the 70-year history of the country. Provision of record development budget to South Punjab is also an honor for the PML-N government; the transparency, quality and speed are the distinctive features of Punjab government that is why "Punjab Speed" is not only famous in Pakistan but in the whole world.
He said a new record was set up by saving 625 billion rupees in almost every development project and this saving is being used in other public welfare schemes. Those who are leveling baseless allegations and are in habit of criticism for the sake of criticism, they will get nothing else than regret and disappointments in upcoming elections, CM warned.
The CM said that innovatory projects have been started in education, health, agriculture and other sectors whose positive impact has raised the living standard of the public. He vowed that after coming into power with public support in 2018 elections, we will fulfill our determination of bringing Pakistan in the line of developed countries. We only believe in public service, development and prosperity as this is our politics and our worship, he claimed.
He further added that those whose politics is based on lies, allegations and U-Turns have no interest in public service; these elements have promoted disrespect and falsehoods in politics; they delayed completion of welfare projects like Orange Train. CM said the PML-N government will continue moving forward on the voyage of development without paying heed to opponents' criticism as people's prosperity and solution of their issues is the act closest its heart.
