Helicopter issue: Khatak rejects allegations

Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has termed media reports about the use of KP government helicopter by PTI chief Imran Khan, as totally wrong and baseless, adding that the later had neither used it for political purposes nor for personal matters.
He was addressing two different public meetings at Kheshgi and Ghandheri in district Naushera on Saturday. Those present on the occasion were included KP Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mian Jamshiduddin Kakakhel, District Nazim, Liaquat Khattak, MNA Dr. Imran Khattak, MPA Fazal Shakoor and other local leadership of the party.
On this occasion, ANP politicians including Malik Aman Khan, Malik Zaman Khan and Malik Shah Jehan Khan along with their families and hundreds of associates announced to join PTI. The chief minister said that whenever Imran Khan comes to KP on visit or in connections with official affairs or with the purpose of inaugurating any project, he is accompanied by him or the provincial ministers.
He said that being chairman of PTI, the presence of Imran Khan is necessary in any official function and had been formally invited. So the propaganda of the use of helicopter is totally wrong and baseless.
In his presence, he said nothing wrong can be happened nor could be used illegally. Regarding Senate polls, he said those coming to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with intention of horse-trading, will return empty handed. He said that they had begun preparations for both Senate and general elections and working on them on war footings.
Pervez Khattak said that like Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the youth generation is standing by Imran Khan and in the upcoming general elections they will not only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but in the whole country will surprise their political opponents.
