A law firm on Thursday approached the Lahore High Court seeking directives to stop Hajj policy 2018. The petitioner Azhar Siddique advocate submitted that the federal government was not complying with the court orders to ensure transparency in distribution of quota among the Hajj tour operators on merit.
He said new Hajj policy had been declared by the authorities which is tantamount to contempt of court. He asked the court to make the new Hajj policy conditional with the Supreme Court's verdict.
