Over 50 Pakistanis martyred, 257 hurt in LoC violations in 2017

According to a report, over 50 Pakistanis were martyred and hundreds wounded in cross border ceasefire violations across Line of Control (LoC) by Indian forces in 2017. Reportedly, Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire at LoC in Azad Kashmir at least 1,300 times in 2017 at Neelam, Nakiyal, Bhimber, and Chowkathi sectors.
The aggressive forces martyred at least 52 innocent citizens and 257 were injured. According to the details, majority of the martyred persons were senior citizens, women and children. Indian forces opened fire on December 7 at a funeral procession in Abbaspur sector and killed two locals and left a woman injured. Indian drones violated Pakistani airspace numerous times and Pakistan Army shot down one on October 27.
