The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) on Saturday asked the Lahore High Court Chief Justice to transfer LHC Registrar Syed Khursheed Anwar Rizvi from the principal seat to any other regional bench. The bar leaders in a letter to the LHC Chief Justice said that Syed Khursheed Anwar Rizvi always misled the judicial authorities and was responsible for tarnishing cordial relation between the bench and the bar.
They said Chief Justice of Pakistan Main Saqib Nisar in a suo motu proceeding on Multan's new judicial complex also held Syed Khursheed Anwar Rizvi responsible for the issue. It further said that the registrar was behind the refusal of cases filing in Okara, transfer of cases from Shorkot to Jhang and the cases which were fixed for hearing in Bahawalnagar but shifted to Pakpattan.
