Ahmed Khan Malik of The Panel and Maqsood Yousufi of The Democrats were elected president and secretary of Karachi Press Club, respectively, in the annual election, held here on Saturday. Malik was the only candidate from The Panel to emerage
victorious by defeating the rival panel's candidate Siraj Ahmed who was contesting to retain his position as president. Other office-bearers elected in the KPC elections were: Syed Minhaj-ur-Rab (vice president), Moosa Kaleem (treasurer), Naimat Khan (joint secretary) while Shams Keerio, Shazia Hasan, Saeed Sarbazi, Abul Hasan, Arif Hussain Hashmi, Kafeel Uddin Faizan and Naeem Akbar Sahoutara were elected members of governing body.
