The Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) has started construction of first phase of 117-acres Bab-e-Pakistan which included construction of a monument, sports complex and central alleys. MPA Yasin Sohl said Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will lay down the foundation stone of the project in first week of January.
The development work at the project was started in 2005 which was deferred due to some unavoidable reasons. This is the biggest and the most difficult project initiated by the PHA with a cost of Rs 4 billion.
