Kulbhushan Jadhav

Convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav met with his mother and wife after Pakistan allowed the meeting to take place on sheer humanitarian grounds.
Although the meeting was scheduled to last for 30 minutes, it was extended by 10 minutes on the request of Jadhav's family. Not only did the two women arrive in Pakistan and leave for their country in an honourable manner, they also thanked the government of Pakistan for allowing them to meet Jadhav. That Jadhav was in a healthy condition is a fact that has been corroborated by a Dubai-based hospital that declared that "Kulbhushan Jadhav is in excellent health condition."
Understandably, the government of Pakistan could not do anything beyond what it did for the two ladies because it was a meeting between a convicted terrorist and his family members; it was not a meeting that could be described as an opportunity provided under counselor access. Unfortunately, however, the response of India and its media is highly negative. How unfortunate it is that New Delhi has been trying to turn the visit of two women to Pakistan into a huge controversy with a view to diluting the impression that Islamabad has created across the world through this noble gesture. It is about time India revisited its approach to Pakistan. India's highly irresponsible media is required to act responsibly. No doubt, it is doing a disservice by distorting facts to Indians.
