Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has felicitated the Christian Community of Pakistan on Christmas. In his message on the eve of Christmas, he said merry Christmas to the Christian Community of the country especially those hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
Jhagra said that the basic human rights of all citizens including those from Christian community are constitutionally secured. He said their role and services in every walk of life for making overall national development possible is a precious part of Pakistan's national accomplishments.
"Pakistanis imbued with the spirit of brotherhood; fraternity and national cohesion are equal partners in putting our beloved country on the path of development, progress and prosperity," he said.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further said that indeed, with this spirit, we as Pakistani nation should continue our collective efforts for our future well-being. He also urged the Christian brethren and sisters that while observing the Happy Christmas they should also reaffirm their commitment to maintaining unity; fraternity and cohesion at every level and work for overall betterment of the nation and the country.
