Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior central leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Ch Pervez Elahi has lauded Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar's visit to Mayo Hospital on Tuesday last after hearing clean water case at Supreme Court (SC) registry to see for himself the situation of healthcare being provided to patients in the country's biggest hospital.
Elahi said CJ's visit has caused pain only in stomachs of those whose own performance is zero, by visiting Mayo Hospital the Chief Justice has done work of 'Sawab' and earned peoples' prayers. "Nawaz Sharif himself has not been able to visit Mayo Hospital in his own constituency due to poor performance and inefficiency of his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif", he pointed out. "The poor patients neither get beds nor medicines in 450 beds hospital and the Surgical Tower established in this hospital by present rulers have intentionally not made functional in 10 years which is a proof of their enmity with people and slap on the face of heir poor performance".
Talking to the media here on Sunday, former CM Punjab said while the, poor patients are praying for Chief Justice their curses for the rulers have also increased. He said Shahbaz Sharif is beating drums everywhere about his performance but practically he has done nothing for the people during his two tenures in health and education sectors.
