The Met Office on Friday forecast cold and dry weather for the most parts of the country over the next 24 hours. It said that hilly areas of Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to receive an isolated light rain with light snowfall. Dense fog is expected to engulf Central and Southern Punjab, besides Upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
Cold and dry weather prevailed over the most parts of the country with dense fog across plains of Punjab and Upper Sindh in the last 24 hours, as temperature in Malamjabba was minus 6 degrees Celsius, Astore, Quetta and Kalam minus 5, each, Gupis minus 4 and Skardu minus 3.
