Head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a church in Quetta which claimed 8 innocent lives and over 20 injured. In his statement he said attacks on religious sanctuaries are intolerable and are utter failure of Government, people at large as well as the State are paying price of ugly nexus of corruption and terrorism.
During a meeting with senior party leaders here on Sunday he said writ of the Government is nowhere; primarily a disqualified person had made whole system hostage for many years, now his remains are playing havoc with the leftover. He said if after scarifying over 73 thousand lives the rulers have failed to realise the gravity of situation, then how long will we take to realise it gravity and rise to the occasion? He expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and said terrorists involved in this incident have met their fate, but what about their facilitators?
