Criticising the higher judiciary over its verdict in response to a petition against Imran Khan, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif announced he would begin a protest movement, Aaj News reported on Saturday night. He said there must be no two different scales of justice for him and Imran Khan. He said hundreds of thousands of pounds were not considered sufficient to prove assets of Imran but the 'imagined' salary attributed to him (Nawaz) was considered a basis for his conviction.
He said every bench introduces its own doctrine of necessity, adding that the bench hearing a petition against Imran turned itself into a counsel for Imran.
