Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Thursday following the previous day's healthy gains, with investors brushing off a record close on Wall Street and an upbeat assessment of the US economy by the Federal Reserve. The Hang Seng Index fell 0.19 percent, or 55.72 points, to close at 29,166.38. And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.32 percent, or 10.60 points, to 3,292.44 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, inched down 0.04 percent, or 0.77 points, to 1,915.00 on turnover of 206.7 billion yuan.
