Pak Sarzameen Party Chief Mustafa Kamal Saturday threw weight behind Dr Tahirul Qadri, saying his party supports Qadri's demand for resignation Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah in the wake of the Model Town judicial report. Speaking at a joint press conference with the Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader, Kamal said those who were named in the judicial report should be handed over to the court of law.
"If injustice like the Model Town incident is not stopped, one should be certain that no one is safe in Pakistan," he said. "We have to take the Model Town incident to its logical end." The PSP leader appreciated Dr Qadri and his party for firmly standing for the issue and paid tribute to their struggle.
He said the PSP has raised real issues of the people, as over 35 million people are facing starvation in the country but no political party is ready to address their problems.
