The Met Office on Wednesday forecast mainly cold and dry weather for the most parts of the country. Temperature in Quetta and Kalat was minus 10 degrees Celsius that also triggered cold waves in Karachi and other parts of the country over the past 24 hours.
Mercury level in Kalam dipped to minus 6, Dalbandin, Dir and Skardu minus 5, each, and Gilgit minus 4. The Met said that weather remained cold and dry in the most parts of the country in the past. However, very cold weather conditions prevailed over the most parts of Balochistan.
