JI Chief, Senator, Siraj-ul-Haq on Wednesday denounced US President Donald Trump for his 'designs' to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. At present, Tel Aviv serves as capital of illegitimate Israel, which it is shifting to the disputed Jerusalem with support of the US. "The move could plunge the entire world into flames of war," Siraj-ul-Haq warned the world powers.
The US is playing with 'fire', he said, adding that Jerusalem is a sacred place for Muslims after Makkah and Madina, which every one of them have great reverence for Israel's occupied holy city. "The US step in this direction will have serious consequences," he said.
He also lauded Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas for rejecting the US evil designs, saying that "none of the Muslim rulers can support Trumps' dangerous plan." Urging the world community and justice loving Western and European nations to condemn Trump's plan, he said that a unanimous and clear message to the US should be sent in a bid to show resentment and foil the satanic move.
